History:First you will be asked to fill out a brief questionaire to help us get to know you. Dr. Richardson will use this information to help formulate recommendations for your care. Consultation:Next you'll meet Dr. Richardson who will review your health history and determine if yours is a chiropractic case. Examination:Standard chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological tests will be performed to help determine the cause(s) of your problem. X-Ray Examination:In most cases, diagnostic images will be taken to visualize the exact location of any spinal problems and help make your chiropractic care more precise. Physiotherapy:We will start to make you feel more comfortable through the use of physical therapies such as disc decompression therapy, ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, cold laser therapy, massage, heat, ice or other procedures that will help reduce inflammation and pain. Report of Findings:Dr. Richardson will explain what was uncovered by your examination, tell you if chiropractic care can help you, and if so, tell you how long it will take. You will be given the opportunity to have any questions that you may have answered. Adjustment:Dr. Richardson will use carefully controlled pressure to help restore spinal bones to their proper position and motion - the key to reducing nervous system irritation and pain.
